    Power Supply Question

I got from a friend who has a computer shop a (shorter than usual heighth) case from costumer who UG'ed. I wanted it 'cause it has 4 bays in the front & is a good 3"- 4" shorter than at the store.
It was off th the recyclers so he gave it to me gratis.

Anyway, he removed cpu & memory, rest was junk for him. It has/had a 500 w "APEVIA" power supply which was a replacement. (mobo maker out of business, onboard video replaced with 'agp'? card, not pci exp.)

I did the green to black jumper on 24 pin mobo conn & fan starts spinning ok.

Dare I use it in another computer?

    this unit:
