In this thread codex asked why would manufacturers limit the amount of memory a motherboard can accept when things more important like the CPU are perfectly fine handling 16, 32, 64GB and don't need to be artificially limited by other components.
I was amazed how many clueless and totally irrelevant answers he got... some people even tried to patronize him asking why he needed so much memory, what problem he was trying to solve. The guy just wanted someone to explain what are the hardware constraints that might exist... not the OS A or B doesn't like it.. he even went ahead and explain that much. So much bullshit by BSmeter skyrocketed.
Is reading comprehension lacking here?
