I have a problem with my Fallout three game for pc. Its a vista 64 bit pc. It loads up perfectly fine, when i click new game and the loading screen comes up, about a few seconds after it tells me fallout 3 has stopped working and closes. Is there some sort of fix for this?
(note: devilmancry 4 works perfectly fine. and i have installed the patches)

Try plugging in a microphone into the microphone jack on your computer. I know it sounds crazy but some games in Vista will not launch unless if it detects a microphone. Give it a shot

OK I did some research on Fallout.. seems like a pretty glitchy game I've been hearing a lot of complaints about it so I guess the best thing to do is wait for a patch or you can try a few of these "fixes"

I hope these help you a bit. A lot of people are on here with Fallout issues, personally I have played it and have had it crash on me too many times - I uninstalled it because of that. I was sick of it! haha. But I hope we can get this game to work for you.

Yes, infact now the game doesnt even give it a chance to load up, it just crashes
