Answered: Fallout 3 Issue

Hello PCHF ! Im just another user with Fallout 3 issues. So when I start up Fallout 3 It just crashes back to the desktop.

Heres what I have tried to do!

Reinstall
Run as adminstrator
Disable themes
Turning ON/OFF UAC
I tried to install the patches from here
http://fallout.bethsoft.com/eng/downloads/updates.html

Fallout3_v1.7_English_US.exe (50 MB) 07/27/2009
This update is for US English version only.

And this one

Fallout3_v1.7 English_UK.exe (50 MB) 07/27/2009
This update is for the English language version released outside North America.

No one worked!

Im not using ASUS products, as Smart doctor!

Im using Vista 32 Home Premium!

Hello Kristoffer, have you tried right clicking on the game launcher, select properties, then select the compatibility tab, then check the run this program in compatibility mode for box and try it with Windows XP (service pack 3)

Smokey, I dont have SP3 only 1&2, Ill try them both now

Edit: Neither did work :/
