Hello. I've got a Asus P4 dual 3,4 ghz with 4 gig ram, with a Nvidia 9500 GT 512 mb card with the latest drivers, and I've encountered a weird problem whenever I'm gaming, especially FPS games.

Most of the time the games are running smoothly, but in regular intervals it starts to get choppy and laggy as hell. This only lasts for about 20 seconds, then it resumes with the regular smoothiness. This goes on and on, no matter what graphics settings (in-game settings, or card settings) I may use. I tried updating the drivers, but to no avail. Not all games are like this, like i said, it's more frequent whenever I play FPS's.

Any ideas? Suggestions? Thanks in advance.
