Hello there,

Well I recently bought myself a new graphics card (GeForce 9800 GT) and a power supply because my computer was pre-built. Got PC world to fit it and everything and for around 2 months now, I've been fine, playing games such as Fallout 3 and Call of Duty 4 on nearly the highest graphics settings. I've recently restored my hard drive because it was suggested by a friend because of the cluttering of files (around a week ago). I downloaded all the drivers for sound and video card however my games will not play properly. No matter if the game is close to my system specs or miles underneath it, they will just not play for more than 5 minutes maximum. Tried 8 year old games right up to new releases but nothing. I would say that this is either bad RAM or overheating - my money would be on overheating. Grab yourself a free copy of speedtest and check your temps.

OK then. I wouldn't think it is my RAM because even though it's low it's been working fine. I'll try speedtest.

I can't seem to find the program speedtest, do you have a link?
