Hi,

I have Xbox for windows gamepad. I play Fifa 09 with it, but I have trouble a bit with dpad. Say player is facing right side and I want to do a long pass forward, the player passes in a direction I did not intend. So there's trouble in using dpad.

Also tried to calibrate gamepad and when it asks here:



that small cross does not seem to obey what I press on dpad at all. If I press down nothing happens it stays there for example.

Next when it asks me to move the Z axis nothing happens, whatever button or stick I press/move it does not work.

Any idea please?

Could you just go to control panel, device manager and make sure there are no yellow triangles of exclamation marks by your joy pad?

Also I tried to calibrate it again and this time when it asks me to move the Z axis it works when I press the LT and RT buttons... (I thought those are not Z axis).

Also in image I presented above where it asks me to press the dpad corners, the small cross is moved when I move the top left analog stick.

Do you mean getting the latest updates for the gamepad driver?

First I used the software that came with the gamepad to install... and then I went to the website the manual suggested to download the latest drivers.

That's what I did.
