okay i have a problem its getting a bit annoying wondering if someone can help me out alittle if someone can i TYVM if not i TY for tring..

well i know for a fact its a driver issue because when i roll back my drivers to the old omega driver it works just fine however i cant play this other game ive been playing called saga it tells me the OpenGL is out of date so i need up use the most up to date drivers..

my graphic card is a radeon 9600+ (i know its old but cant really spare to upgrade) okay the problem is when i login to this one game its called rappelz i get the whole way up to the character select screen then my computer reboots its self and this is with the most recent display drivers when i roll them back to the older omega drivers everythings works great..

i can run any other game no problem that ive tried like project powder, warrior epic, saga, nhl 09, need for speeds, saga ect that i have tried with the newest version of the drivers but i cant run rappelz.. if any more info is needed let me know ill try to answer..

again i thank anyone who wants to try and help me with this problem. it is just getting bothersome uninstalling rebooting in safe mode to useing the driver sweeper file then rebooting again to upgrade to w/e driver is working for the game i want to play

I'm sorry but I think you've answered your own problem in what you've written.

If your kit doesn't meet the requirements for the game there is nowhere to go.

Others in the forum may know better in terms of tweaking etc......

ty for the welcome.. and ty for your responds however how did i answer my own question? i mean the game works fine if i used the old omega drivers.. but it does not work when i upgrade my drivers to the newest version.. my computer does meet the requirements for playing that game.. as i can play it just fine in pervious drivers.. you sort of have me confused with that or maybe i was not clear enough.. but the 9.3 catalyst reboots my computer when i get to the character selection screen.. however the one in the omega drivers i can play just fine but i just can not play one of my other games i enjoy playing because the OpenGL is out of datewith the older driver..

Some games aren't compatible with newer drivers.

I had a game like that once and everytime i wanted to play it I had to rollback the drivers. There's nothing you can do about it if the game developer hasn't released a patch to make it compatible with newer graphics drivers.

thats what i was thinking.. well tyvm for your help.. it gets frustrating especially since i had to recently reformat because i think i might of did something wrong with rolling my drivers back and forth to play games i could only load a game.. i couldnt load the ones i wanted to play it kept giving me error on load or the same BSOD..
