Default Gears of war ups...

Help after many days searching e succesfully found gears of war pc. I come home, the sun is shining... great .

I instal the game... all ok, i run the game, "file something is modified", i go "what?!", no problem I uninstal I reinstal.... I do it one more time... same error i'm ******, I delete the folder on "programs", and i try to reinstal it one more time....

I thought it was strange since instead having the "instal bla bla" it had (on the auto-run) "play, uninstal"... but there was no file, e deleted it, and emptyed the trash can, the program (gears of war) was on the programs list to. I do the unistal, "instalhelper something not found) and there is the ups... after that the auto run didn't auto run... e restart the pc.. the autorun runs. I made sure every trace of the game was deleted and with this i mean, I searched the pc, and eleminated everyting with "gears of war" on it

The game obviously had an error and i'm going to trade it tomorow, but i'm worried the game I trade tomorow have the same problem, the pc recognize it as instaled and unable to uninstal since it doesn't have the uninstal file, but then if it doesn't have any file how can it know it is instaled.

Can please someone help me with this i tryied to be as detaild as possible, sry if the text got a little long, sry to by any gramar mistake i'm not english

Welcome to the Forum Mart!

One thing to be sure of is that your system has the required power to run your game.

Making sure that all your drivers are as up to date as they can be may help also.

Hopefully the new game doesn't have the same problem, but if it does, you may need to try and find another vendor for it.

I'll mark this one as open to encourage others to came and take a look.

I'm sure there are other opinions out there that will help.

Thanks for your patience

Hi Mart - Welcome to PCHF!!!

Sorry for the delay in getting to your thread. Do you still need help with this?

Did the new disc install properly?

To uninstall the game try using Revo uninstaller. Even if you don't have the uninstaller it will uninstall it for you.

You can download it from the link below.
