I am trying to update final fantasy XI after a reformat of my 7000 series gateway computer which is 5 years old, i just uninstalled norton because symantics was giving me errors. I have been playing this game for 5 years. I have updated and re-installed ffxi several times and never had this problem. The nearest error i can tell is
Faulting application pol.exe, version 1.18.12.0, faulting module app.dll, version 1.18.12.0, fault address 0x00273d72.

I do not know what this means or how i can fix it.; ;

When you reformatted,it may had an older driver for you video card. Check and make sure that your video card driver is up to date. This error you are getting indicates that.......
