Hi I have a game called lego rock raiders and I would really like to play it and finish it but im about halfway through the game on this one mission( and If you dont finish it you dont go on to new levels) my game continues to crash and quit out and display an error message do you want to send or not send error report. Everytime i play it it stops working. I have waaaaay more than enough mobo to play. I think its software related or compatibility issue or some settings messed up. If you could give me ideas as to fix that would be great!!!
Ive tried compatibility mode on it on win 95-98/ and on 640/480 pixles, and 256 colors and it still wont run for more than 10 min on the mission, all the otheres ran fine.

Hi
I understand that you have 2 O/S and both 32bit Does it crash on both? (XP AND Vista) Download MemTest (any flavor will do) and do some testing. Is it possible that, the game in question has a problem with more than 4GB?

QrazyQuadQore:
The fact that disabling DirectX features seemed to resolve the issue (as far as crashing is concerned) strongly suggests software related cause. Check out on the game's maker site, are there any software requirements? Any updates? It could be that one of the DLLs that the program installs/uses, is overwritten by a newer-or older- version from a different program, or windows itself. Do you have any un-signed, non WHQL drivers? Do you use any "tweaked" drivers? But then again, it may all be irrelevant, as I have found a link pointing to he non-compatibility issue. You may not bee able to play this game in WinXP after all, but there is a mention of a "newer" XP compatible VersionLEGO Rock Raiders and Windows XP - Neoseeker Forums
