Hey, guys. I'm wondering if my old school Pentium 4 would be able to run Prototype, even at low settings maybe.

Here are some system requirements from Destructoid.com:

Video Card: 256 MB 3D hardware accelerator card required - 100% DirectX® 9.0c with Shader Model 3 support*
Processor: Pentium(R) Intel Core® 2 Duo 2.6 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ or better
RAM: 1 GB of RAM for Windows ® XP
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0 –compliant sound card


My rig:

Intel Pentium 4 640 3.2GHz
1024MB RAM (DRAM frequency 266.7 MHz)
GeForce 6800GS 256MB

I'm thinking pretty much a big no... I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks. I've asked on another forum and was given an unanimous no. It's pretty obvious comparing my rig versus the requirements. Time for an upgrade I guess. :P

You have to upgrade your CPU. It requires at least a dualcore, which you don't have.
