i just recently bought the game "Deus", a game made in 1996 and runs on DOS or windows 95. i have windows xp, and when i open the game in the D drive, i look through all the files and click "setup" but nothing opens. i am an avid PC game collector and have games like "X-Com: Terror From The Deep" and "Dark Colony" and they run fine, X-Com being made in 1995 and runs on DOS.
how do i get to be able to play Deus? i really want to play it. it looks interesting, although i hear it's hard as hell. my favorite game though is Deus Ex, similar title, but the two games are nothing alike i'm sure. Deus Ex is the best game ever. but anyway i want to know how to install it.

i click start and it says "the procedure entry point FT_Thunk could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"
oh wait, i found a different start icon, clicked it, and a DOS screen appears for only one second then goes away. |

Install and use DOSBOX to run the Deus installer, or other old games you may have...
DOSBox, an x86 emulator with DOS
