hehe, yeah, I think I found the spec's you were looking at from the NVidia web site. Is it this one? http://www.nvidia.com/object/product...tx_285_us.html

Generically, this card requires at least 550w PSU with 40amps (2 x 20a), but remember that your card is BFG. The minimum requirements vary between manufacturers. For example, XFX cards recommend a minimum of 630w PSU. The BFG's cards are a little bit more (not exactly sure which BFG 285 you have - a few to choose from): BFG Tech - BFG NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 OC 1GB PCIe 2.0 (B) - but generally 575w+ with an amperage rating of 42 amps.

Can you post the CPU-Z log? Might help to confirm if this is a power issue?

Everything looks good, although, this would be under normal load. I don't know why I don't think of these things when I ask for them! lol

Speedfan might actually a better tool to use, as you can configure monitoring over a period of time (for example, when your playing a game). Click on Configure, followed by the Log tab to enable logging. Then, select the items you would like to log (in this case, voltages, and you might as well do temperatures at the same time). Once you click on an item, a "Logged" tick box will appear at the bottom of the window. Try to play a game for a few minutes whilst Speedfan is open. Close Speedfan when your finished and a new log file will be created in the Speedfan folder. Voltages generally have around a 5% tolerance.

Heh, no problem. I had back to back hockey games tonight, and another right after work tomorrow, so it may be Friday before I get it posted. Unless I can sneak out for a bit at lunch .

Let me see what I can do.

Thanks again for all your help, Monkey.

hmmm, a little concerned about CPU voltage there. The voltage range for a Pentium D 950 (socket 775) is 1.225V - 1.312V. When you first start Speedfan, it's quite happy at 1.22v. Then, presumably when you start the game, it drops to 1.20v and then 1.18v. See if your able to increase the voltage slightly in BIOS - 1.25v should keep you in the green during gameplay.

EDIT: Marked as Answered.
