Alright, so I moved to Windows Vista in Christmas. Lately, i've been trying to install my Flight Simulator 2004 onto Windows Vista, but no success. I get an error when I try to install the game. The "error" is always different, for example, sometimes it says it can't install a certain file in the disc, but each time i attempt to install fs2004 i get that but with a different file.
Basically, how do i install FS2004 on Windows Vista?

Welcome back flames.
Even though you're probably logged in as an Administrator, try running the setup.exe by right clicking on it and running it "as Administrator" Also, I suspect that the problem may be with the disc itself...have you tried installing or running the disc on another PC to test?

Well, according to the FS community and Microsoft, FS2004 is compatible with Vista.
Do you have any specific error messages in your Event Viewer that could help us diagnose the problem?

Right click on "My Computer" > Manage > Event Viewer > Applications (& System).
Anything in there?
