Hey everyone!
I've got a really annoying problem.
Actually, three of them. On my own computer, sims 3 doesn't work, most likely because my graphics or whatever do not support Pixel Shader 2.0, which is a requirement.
Does this mean there's no way it's going to work on that computer?

I tried to play it with a laptop, but it said the disc couldn't be found. It installed itself prettily, but then, when I pressed the play button, it just said it couldn't find a disc! Is this a problem with the computer, or what?

And finally, in the computer I am atm, it does work (which would indicate there IS a pixel shader, unless the game works without it, which in case it would also work on the computer #1) but then it freezes up in like 5-15 mins of gameplay (I've tried it about 3 times now).

Please help... Do I need a totally new and better computer?
