jimykx without a quadcore or equivalent you won't run gtaIV at full specs, the best a core duo can do is low-medium (providing you got a decent motherboard to go with it), and even then you might run is some serious temperature issues. The game its just too demanding for a core duo to handle and one too many bugs do the rest as jay ponted out

i think the motherboard is good.... when u meantemperature problem, you mean that the pc is going to get hot and noisi if i spend a lot of time playing?, but it is "some time playing" or "a lot of time playing"???

i have a friend with a nvidia 9650m gt and a processor of 2.0ghz 2gb ram, and he runs the game on medium, you think i can get higher? i have more ram and a better processor :S

Ah, right fine I didn't understand that you needed to buy/build the PC yiu want to play it on.

Get your self a Quad 100%, that's in the recommended specs. which are below

CPURecommended: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz, AMD Phenom X3 2.1GHz
System RAMRecommended: 2.5 GB
Video CardRecommended: 512MB NVIDIA 8600+ / 512MB ATI 3870+

So if you want the best out of GTA 4 you'll need to have specs that are better than those.
