hi i seem to have a problem where i play from between 5 and 10 mins and then the mouse and keyboard stop working everything else in game works fine have tried multiple problem fixes from different sites and nothing works i meet just over minimum requirements for this game.

when mouse and keyboard fezzes in game i can still ctrl alt del out of the game.

it has passed all minimum requirements and a few odd recommended it fine till i about to leave the vault then keyboard and mouse freezes but game keeps running as have been killed while keyboard and mouse stop by enemy so i dnt know what this problem is but have noticed it is not rare but no one has came up with suggestions

I assume this is a USB mouse and keyboard. Does it have a brand and/or model number?

A good test would be to try a standard PS/2 keyboard and mouse just to see whether or not the problem is with the USB mouse and keyboard.

Also you can use a joypad to play Fallout 3, that's what I do. I'm not into the mouse and keyboard setup.

Also it might be cheaper for you to get a USB to PS/2 adapter than a brand new PS/2 keyboard and mouse. This is the adapter. It could actually solve all your problems.

I don't know what the problem could be, I'm just offering this as a quick fix.

Let me know how it goes. Note that you can purchase it from another site, ebay may be cheaper delivery wise but that lets you know what you're looking for.

The same connector will work for both your keyboard and mouse btw. They are only colour coded to make them easier to connect, the connections are exactly the same. You need one for the mouse and one for the keyboard.

In the game, once outside the vault, open the console by pressing the key below Esc

Type in enableplayercontrols

(press enter)
