Try opening up nvidia control panel. I am familiar with nvidia control panel you want to set specific graphic rules for program not global. the control panel has 2 ways to do that it gives you a global option which makes the changes to every program or you can do it by program. I do it by program considering each game is different and you will get different performance from games. If you need help let me know.

Update: I tried removing one of my memory sticks. Now it works fine...
