I have DirectX 9.c, I can't play any of my games, when I try to play it message appears telling me you need DirectX (9.0 or 9.b or 9.c it depends on game). I reinstaled DirectX and tryed to fix it with Driver Cure but after few hours problem appears again!

Hi, and welcome to the PC HelpForum.

I'll mark this topic as [open] to encourage our clever ones to help you.

I do have a question regarding this problem you're having.

I know that windows XP comes with DirectX 9.0c, but Microsoft has updated the DirectX 9.0c since and is still doing updates. Have you tried to do a DirectX setup? Also, games that require DirectX 9.0c often are shipped with the setup for DirectX. You might want to run that.

Hell Denis_Smith,
Microsoft has a tool to diagnose directx, it is dxdiag. The following article decribes how to use it: DirectX: Description of the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Try the troubleshoot button to get started.

Here is the latest updated version of DirectX 9.0c, you will need to validate your install of Windows to make sure it is genuine before you can download DirectX...

Download details: DirectX End-User Runtime
