I think this is a game problem, have you contacted EA, they are pretty big, so they care about their bottom line, YOU.

Also, I would try to take back the game, letting the retailer know that yes you registered the product, but it has NEVER worked.

If that still isn't possible, double check your system updates, and uninstall and reinstall your graphics card drivers. This is frustrating, because I don't want you to troubleshoot your PC, which is fine with everything else, into a problem, because the game has some type of conflict.

I am assuming that you have messed with the settings in the game, trying out different combos.
