Yesterday my counter strike: source began acting weird.
With intervals of about 10 minutes, it would freeze the game for about 30 seconds. The weird thing is, that its not totalty frozen. I can turn the screen around, and see people names when i look at them, and both the chat and peoples microphones work. When the freezing ends, i end up at the place i froze, or, if i was killed, the spawn point.

It happend after i downloaded some hardware for my Logitech G5 mouse, but i dont think that has anything to do with it. Do you guys have any idea whats going on?

what exactly freezes in the game?
At first I thought you meant that you can't move (as in WASD keys do nothing), but then i read this

"When the freezing ends, i end up at the place i froze"

So now i'm thinking maybe i'm wrong and you see other players frozen?

Please clear this doubt for me so we can start looking at possible causes

It could well be the download for your mouse, it's not unknown for other software to affect games and it's worth a try (uninstalling it) to see if it makes a difference.

Yea i would recommend doing what upgrader said and try uninstalling your mouse driver. I personally a problem when i installed a microsoft mouse on my laptop and tried playing a game on steam. I guess the software that came with the mouse was running in the background and conficting with something on steam.
