I just fired up my old game Homeworld 2. Everything works fine but you could not see the whole screen, just barely clips it. So I go the options and make screen bigger and restarted. Now say when I click option or anything for that matter, you can only see half the screen! You can't click [accept] button since it was located on the bottom of the screen. Soooo I can't go back and change it the way it was.
I uninstalled and reinstalled but the options didn't change for some reason.
Help with this matter would be much appreciated.

Install the "game" in Compatability mode, right mouse click on the "game".exe file, select what ever compatibility mode it was designed to run under....

Can you locate your save games?
I haven't played Homeworld 2 so I can't tell you exactly where they are, but the personal settings file is usually stored either in the same folder with the saved games, or very close to them.

Often times when you install a program or game the uninstaller removes much of it but not all.
I'm guessing once you run your uninstaller if you look around your directory tree you'll likely find a directory/folder still there that was created by the game installation and it has those settings in it. Delete that directory/folder after uninstalling then you should be back to where you were when you installed the first time. *Hint* the directory/folder is not always obvious ergo it may not be named after the game itself but after the maker/company.
