it got to the first opening screen that time but it still crashed. That maid it better so i have to be getting close. thanks

I have literally the exact same problem as the author of this thread
The second I start the game and hit new it goes to the loading screen for about 3 seconds then says Fallout 3 has stopped working
I've dug through the Bethesda forums and found no solution
