Default Slow PC when playing games

My pc i soo slow when I am playing computer games like callofduty etc, not only in multiplayer but in single player too. I'm not very good at computers but this is what my system specs says; WindowsVista ultimate with SP1 , AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile technology TL-56 1,80 GHz, 2,00 GB RAM, 32-bit operating system. Nvidia GeForce Go 7600, It's a HP computer and it's about 2 years old with 1440x900 screen resolution, I am choosing the lowest screen resulotion in the game settings but it's still slow and laggy.
Do you know why my games are running slow ?
(sry for my bad english)

I agree with Jelly Bean.

Your processor is only 1.8GHz and it doesn't have very much cache. You also don't have a dedicated video card. But your video card should be able to take up to 256MB from the RAM to use. Try setting that a little higher in the BIOS and it might help. If your not sure how to do this, just let me know and I'll try and find you instructions.

Regards,
Adam

Enter the BIOS (this can be done by hitting a certain button while the computer is first loading and the very first black screen. It's probably F2 but it could be something else, if it's not hit the Pause button and then press the button it says to Enter Setup). In the BIOS, go over to the System Configuration tab and look for something to do with dedicated video memory. Change that option to the highest possible on the list and save the changes while exiting the BIOS.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Adam

when I've selected the system configuration tab there are 2 things I can click, Language and Boot options, When I click boot options I see this:
F10 and F12 delay (scc)
CDROM Boot
floppy boot
internal network adapter boot
>boot order

what should I click ?

Sorry, maybe you can't do it. I'm not sure where else it would be.
