Played the game up to about 84% completed. Ran smoothe as silk. Then it decided to only allow the WASD keys to work. I can move foward/back and strafe left/right. I can also point my weapon, but thats all. I can't fire my weapon or use iron sights/telescopic sights. Cannot change weapons. Can only swap between weapon I brought up and the map. Meanwhile. the AI has a field day shooting me to pieces.
What I've tried so far...
uninstalling-reinstalling--twice-- nada.
loading a few saves back-- worked normal until that 84% mark.
Tried reconfirming control keys -- zippo.
turned everything back to default.

Pentium4 3.2 GHz, 2GB memory, creative audigy, GeForce 6800, 83GB Free space.

Hey miki, welcome to PCHF, sorry for the delay.

I only have two suggestions on this one.

1) Make sure your not running any 3rd party keyboard tools. These can normally be found in the system tray, and provide extra keyboard functionality, such as volume controls and shortcut keys.

2) Make sure your running the latest FarCry patch. I believe this is the latest downloadable version (without registering): Download Far Cry 1.33 Patch, Far Cry 1.33 Patch 1.33 Download
