Fallout 3 problems
I just got Fallout 3 and installed it, but when I get to the title screen and press new game it starts to load then a message pops up and says "Fallout 3 has stopped running". I met all the recommended requirements and updated my drivers yet I am unable to run this game. This is beyond annoying, can anyone help?

I will mark your thread as open for another tech to look at it. Does the game actually freeze up? I'm thinking it could be a graphics card issue

Welcome! I'm sure you will find the help you are looking for at PCHF. We have an amazing number of very talented members and tech staff waiting to assist.
Do you by any chance have either of these items installed - ASUS GamerOSD and ASUS SmartDoctor? It has been reported that these may conflict with Fallout 3 running on Vista. Is it possible that you might uninstall and reattempt? What OS are you running?

Is it possible to remove ASUS Smart Doctor for testing purposes? The thread where I found this instance is Fallout 3 Has Stopped Working - Bethesda Game Studios Forums - last comment at the bottom of the screen.
