I have counter strike pc and when I insert the first disk I receive the following error message:
autorun.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (Oxc0000006). Click on OK to terminate the application.
Can anyone help to fix this problem?

Hey Ace, welcome to PCHF. Awfully sorry for the late reply on this one.
As far as I'm able to determine, this problem can be caused by certain Norton products, such as Norton Ghost, pcAnywhere and Anti-Virus. Or if you have a Broadcom Wireless adaptor on your PC. In both cases, re-installing this software is solution. EDIT: Marked as Answered.
