I'm trying to import a cod4 profile because i reformated from Vista (shutters) to XP and i backed up my COD4 file on a flash drive but i keeps saying "error reading from stats folder, all stats have been reset"
i think this is a defence mechinism for COD4 so people don't post cod4 accounts on the internet and people download then and use them but this defets the purpose of backing up file when you can reinstall them.

Any one have an idea?!?

What folders/files did you copy over to from before the reformat?

I copied the Entire game just in-case to aother computer on my network

Try reinstalling the game itself and then just finding the players folder in these locations depending on your operating system:

Vista:
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\P rogram Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players

XP:
C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\

Back that folder up and then place it into the same place once you have reinstalled. Actually the players folder won't be in that location for your backup, just find it in your backup for COD4
