i have recently bought rainbow 6 vegas 2 and agatha christie's mysteries. after i have installed them and try to play them it lags really badly. However i have been having problems with my keyboard and when it locks up so i can't type then play these games the lagging has stopped completley, but in the instance of the rainbow 6 game i won't be able to use the keyboard.
my question is do you know why it is doing this and how i can solve it?

yes i have i have tried 3 other keyboards all the same problem and the one i am using i bought yesterday and had to use the disk to set up the keyboard and still have the same problems

Next, update your motherboard (chipset) drivers, as there may be a problem with the USB interface/hub. Then, update, or re-install both your graphics card AND sound card drivers.

i don't know how to update the motherboard driver cos the ones i find is about BIOS files and i know nothing about them

the driver i need is aopen I865GM-I

@Johnny, my personal welcome to PCHF. Can you please go to the User CP, and scroll down to Edit Options, the to Thread Display Options, and fill in the System Specs as completely as possible? That way we can direct you to the correct drivers, and you won't have to worry about ruining your PC.
