Default Spore on a Laptop?

Hey all!

I am in the process of selling my gaming PC () as i am getting a PS3 for my birthday and the PC just eats up the electricity!!

I still need something in my room for internet usage and i thought about getting one of those ASUS eee laptops but after trying one out i found that i hate it so much i would end up smashing it after a week .

So i have been looking around for budget laptops (the only requirement i have is for it to have WiFi) and i came across a nice looking samsung for what i think to be a decent price! Now the thing i just remembered is that i really wana play Spore! I had a look at the requirements and they dont seem to be that bad, but as i want to play on a laptop i wasn't sure how it would work out!!

Spore's system requirements for vista are:
Code:
2.0 GHz P4 processor or equivalent
768 MB RAM
A 128 MB Video Card, with support for Pixel Shader 2.0
At least 6 GB of hard drive space
The Laptop specs are:

Code:
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 2.00GHz 2MB Cache (667MHz FSB)
- Graphics: Intel GMA X4500
- Memory: 2GB DDR2 RAM
- Hard Drive: 160GB SATA (5400RPM)
- Optical Drive: DVD Super Multi Dual Layer Drive
- Screen: 15.4" WXGA SuperBright LCD Widescreen (1280x800)
- Wireless LAN: 802.11b & 802.11g
- Ethernet LAN: 10/100/1000
- Sound Controller: High Definition Audio
- Speakers: Stereo
- Expansion: 54mm ExpressCard Slot
- Card Reader: SD Card & MultiMedia Card
- Camera: 1.3 Megapixel
- Security: Kensington Lock Slot
- Connections: 3x USB 2.0, 1x HDMI, 1x VGA, 1x RJ-11, 1x RJ-45, 1x Microphone & 1x Speakers/Headphones
So would it work on that? Even if its in low graphics? The main thing i am wondering about is the graphics card, as they are different from my normal PC ones..

Any help would be really appreciated!!

Thanks in advance,
Dave.

You could probably get a laptop with better built-in graphics for around the same price. I'm not a big fan of samsung notebooks myself and would recommend an ASUS or HP over samsung.

However to answer your question, yes your game will run on the samsung laptop.

I have a HP laptop which runs spore and FSX deluxe fine with on board graphics. Wont run FSX on high detail though only medium but runs spore maxed. Intel C2D and 2gb ram. uses upto 256 for graphics.
