Default Battlefield 2142 big problem HELP
Hi all this is my 1st post and i am seeking a wise person to help me, ive been playing BF2142 for a couple of years, when i got a major problem the screen was frozen and the mouse or the keys would not work.
So i tried to uninstall the game only it would'nt let me, so i went into all the files i could find and deleted them i realise that was a dumb move on my part as i am still learning only had my pc for about 3 years.
Anyway i managed to delete the game in the add/remove programme, but now i am unable to play the game because when i put the disc in all i get is--
THE CURRENT VERSION OF THE APPLICATION COULD NOT BE DETERMINED THE SETUP WILL NOW TERMINATE
Ive tried ccleaner, registry cleaner, but the game will not install it is a genuine game on a genuine windows xp.
My friend said that the p.c. still thinks that the game is installed, so when i put the diac in it wont let me play on uninstall it. any ideas???? p.s my system restore only goes back a few months

Hello and welcome to PC Help Forum.

Have you tried system restore to before you started to delete peices and files of this game?

Click start/all programs/acessories/admin tools/system restore.Choose a date to before you tried to remove game.

Hi buckdude, if that doesn't work you can try this.

Download the Windows Installer Cleanup utility from here http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...bd/msicuu2.exe
Once downloaded, install it. Then go to Program Files - Windows Installer cleanup and run msicuu.exe
Select Battlefield 2142 from the list and click Remove.

That should fix the problem

i downloaded the programme but BF2142 was not in it nice try,lots of other programmes but no BF

I Can Fix This  I Need Help
