Unhappy horrible install problem
hey.

names madhazard



lately, i've been getting this error that comes each time i try to install ANY of my games.

the error is the same but is writin differently
the error on all my star wars games looks like this

Luckily (or unluckily ) this is a common issue and MS have a solution for you...

Error message when you access the CD drive or DVD drive after you upgrade to Windows XP: "Incorrect function"

well i dont think thats really the problem thats going on


i took the librity of getting a screen pick of what it shows up as.

i hope you can get a solusion to this

i have been able to install these in the past and i am able to play audio cd's at no expence


i have had my computer since arount 2000 and hope that i dont have to wipe it

i will look through what you gave me and i thank you for your help

According to InstallShield, “A "feature transfer error" occurs when the Update Service is enabled using InstallShield 10.5. The installation works perfectly fine before the Update Service is enabled. This error occurs on an Update installation, when the previous version did not have Update Service.”

Disable all update checking for all InstallShield related products. The procedure for doing so is explained in this InstallShield knowledge base posting:
