Default [Fixed] COD4 not uninstalling

So in a nutshell: I was working on our primary home desktop for my younger brother. At the time it had 2 sata drives and a legacy 40gb ide drive. XP pro was installed on the 40gb, but to basically give him a "new" computer I formatted the sata drives and pulled the 40gb out and set up windows on one of the sata drives. That was going fine, but the 40gb ended up not working in our other comp so I was forced to revert to the way things were and put it back in. So at this point the sata drives are clear and cod4 was installed on one of them. The system boots up from the 40gb and I guess there are fragmented files on it because COD4 refuses to completely uninstall nor will it play. I realize now that I was probably getting ahead of myself in the whole ordeal, but I was wondering if anyone would have any ideas or help for this problem.

Much Thanks.

It is the same copy as before...I need to keep data on the 40gb drive, which is what has kept me from just reformatting that one as well.

Have you tried to reinstall COD4 off the original CD and then if you want to uninstall?

the only option it gives when I try and run from the CD is if I want to uninstall the game or play it...and then on either option it goes to the drive on which it was installed and reports an error and quits.

Well the only other option would be to remove the install folder for the game and search and remove all entries from the registry refering to the game.
