Unhappy HL2 And Vista

Heya people. I have a Prroblem. Im having trouble with Vista and Dual Core.
The HL2 Engine is Not Working Correctly with the specs i have. im current running laptop with 2 gig ram and 358 MB Gfx Card. Inbuilt. But i Have Fram Rate Trouble. Can anyone please help. i can explain More about my problem if you ask.

Hi, as I first suspected, your graphics card is integrated, i found this review of it and it even mentions HL2 suffering from poor frame rates Intel GMA X3100 | Our Review | TechRadar.com

I fear that it is just not really up to the job of supplying quality 3D graphics, its more suited to running the Aero portion of Vista

Hi Stan. Your best bet would be to set the resolution to the lowest and all the graphical settings to low. Your laptop specs are not the best for playing games so you'll have to suffice with poor graphics
