I inserted a pc game in my laptop and it won't load. I've tried to click on the "cd drive" icon & get a pop-up saying "please insert disc". What am I do wrong??

What condition is the disc in?
Could it be unreadable?
Is the CD spinning?

The disc I just bought. it spins for a second when i insert the disc then stops....

Try to read another disc.
It is possible that you got a bad one.
Since it is a laptop, I have had CD drives flake-out and you my need to reboot but if it reads another disc then it is OK. The disc that wont read isn't.
Do you have access to another computer to try it on?

Maybe it's a DVD and not a CD and you only have a CD player???

Ok. I just checked & it is a PCDVD game. I dont have a dvd on my laptop. Thank you for the help

If you only have a CD drive then you have to look for the DVD or CD on the box to avoid this again.
