well i got back from spring break, and my computer wouldn't allow steam to connect to the internet, which had no problems the day i left, i posted on the steam forums, which are pretty much usless, and they said to delete the "ClientRegistry.blob" file and that would most likely fix the problem. It just caused it to cease working all together. I tried to remove it from the computer and reinstall. but after i uninstall, then reinstall it updates about 30% and says "Steam.exe (main exception): Unable to load library Steam.dll"

anybody have any ideas it would be greatly appriciated!.

From what I've read the "unable to load library Steam.dll" is due to a firewall blocking steam from connecting to the internet. See link below for how to fix this:

hmm, thats so weird, because i didnt change anything the past week. oh well..ill work on that..thanks for the tip!

It can happen if a steam update has been released. Apparently even if you have all the exceptions set in your firewall you have to delete them all and reset them as steam updates.
