Newegg.com - pqi POWER Series 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 333 (PC 2700) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

OR

I'd get two of these: (Best choice)

Newegg.com - pqi POWER Series 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 333 (PC 2700) Desktop Memory - Retail

Or this:
Newegg.com - pqi POWER Series 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 333 (PC 2700) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

I disagree with Darklord on one point. A 128bit memory interface is not bad if the memory clock is high enough to make up for it. My graphics card has 512MB with a 128bit interface, that i have overclocked to 700mhz, and it works quite well, for its age. If the clock is high enough to make up for the narrow bus. I recommend these for your computer.

That processor is fine.
3x Newegg.com - A-DATA 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory - Retail
You will be able to lower the timings to probably 2.5-3-3-6 at DDR-333 speeds

Newegg.com - HIS Hightech H165GTQT512GDDAN-R Radeon X1650GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 AGP 8X IceQ Turbo Video Card - Retail (Note the very fast mem clock, memory bandwith of 21GB/s) It will use a Floppy power connector.

I saw that card, but he said he wanted to stay under 100$, and if you check his motherboard.. it only handles a maximum of 2Gbs and PC2700.. not PC3200, thus it would downclock it and make it pointless no? Hmm.. :S

yeah man, just get a 2.8 or 3.0 Ghz processor around 100$ and find some old ram card and pop'em in, you dont need much to run cs 1.6 infact all you really need is a new graphics card but new processor and ram while be a great power up and will allow you to play games slightly better (from a graphics standpoint) than cs 1.6.

Yeah I have a 2.8GHZ now with 2GB RAM and a ATi Radeon x1650PRO 512MB video card.

Question I have now is... Can I get near constant 100FPS by tuning my system somehow? Right now I get roughly 60.

Thanks (:

Oh, okay. I can get over 100fps with this but not constant.
