Are you playing on European servers? You'll get the best ping from playing on servers as closer to you. You arn't uploading anything in the background are you? Torrents etc.

yea i go on uk based servers and get ping of like 160+ and nope nuthing running in the background

Hi dave update your drivers and check your wirless router settings,right click on network adaptors and choose repair.

Aslo maybe your ISP was having problems,At ceratin times of the day our connection goes a lot slower.

Your ping for UK servers should not be that high.

hey just pinged yahoo.com and my average came back at 134 im starting to wonder if its my wireless usb toggle and debating weather to get a pci card instead

So you seem to be running normaly.

Have you pinged your own ISP?

Try that and give me the results?

in that case try pinging your router, it should be instant really... (<10ms)

The ping rate seems to be normal,when using online games more data must be sent back n forth so the ping rate would be higher.A lot of data being sent?
