when i load doom the first disc loads but every time i try to start the second disc it frezes up and wont run can you help

HI welcome to PCHF it sounds like the cd maybe faulty do you get any error message at all? Will it load on another PC?

What freezes, the installation or the PC?
Is the disc scratched or dirty at all?

progam freezes disc are good worked on my outher cpu.

If it freezes stuck with no error it is likely to be a RAM or graphics card issue do you have the latest drivers for your graphics card?

Clean the unprinted side of the disc, with Isopral alcohol and tiolet tissue with the disc lying flat in the CD case, pushing from the center out, they try it as soon as it's dry

Hope you have that 15 digit code number, or it ain't gonna run PERIOD

Also strange as it sounds Defrag your HD

Make positive, you're off line, and drop your screens
