Hi
do i need to have avg antivirus, webroot spysweeper and windows firewall running ?
Nope, not really..in fact if you are only playing single-player games then it is perfectly ok to turn all of it off.

If you're on a trusted (managed) server then you could certainly get away with turning off the active elements of your AV and Anti-Spyware.

Hey, No i don't have any running when i am playing online games. But soon as i come off i turn them back on and do some checks and it always seems to come be to be alright

So you should be alright with turning them all off, I don't see what windows firewall does anyway lol
