Sometimes when i tried to install a game, it will stop after a certain percentage(sometimes stops at 5% or sometimes 95%)...

can i know what is the problem and how to fix it? is it something wrong with my software? or dvd-rom?

Does it show any errors? Such as "Failed to copy XXXX" or "Failed to read/write from/to XXXX"

sometimes it shows... Like "Failed to read from hellgate.dat" but the file is actually there!!!

and in some cases, it didn't show anything but i'm sure the dvd-rom had stop running and the process had just stop there...

Have you tried to clean the disc you're installing from? Or check for any scratches/smudges/dirt/and so on

ya of course... is it something to do with my dvd-rom? sometimes the installation will make my pc hang until i eject the disc...

Do you have another drive you can use? It could be the lens is dirty, but I don't recommend trying to clean it, you have to be real careful
