uninstall the driver update you downloaded
after that, REBOOT.
your computer should automatically install the previous driver you had.

if not, last resort would be to do system restore.
You might just have to buy a new sound card all together.
Yours is pretty outdated.

where did you install it at?
thats where youll find it...

if there is no uninstall method
then just manually delete where it was downloaded

Actually first install this: Belarc Advisor - Free Personal PC Audit
See what Motherboard model you have.
Download the drivers for the motherboard and install them. That is IF its a onboard sound card

ps. if you can't find the uninstall, just go to start->control panel->add remove programs. Should be there
