I've found 1 of my games that work 'zoo tycoon', but the others are still crashing 5 mins into playing them

Did you try this??? RAM is the most common cause of a PC crashing like yours 90% try this first then if you stall have a problem try your graphics card this way it won't cost you any $$$ to work out whats causing this.
