lmao you arent going to be able to upgrade enough to do that. even todays highest powered most expensive computers, quad core processors, quad SLi, 8gigs of memory.... none of them can run crysis above high res. you would be able to run it better if you built a totally new computer. but i will se what i can do. let me know if you want to do a new build. will work on upgrade right now.

aHere. This is about as much as you can upgrade your system currently. The processor and memory are going to be big bottlenecks, just fyi.

VisionTek 900203 Radeon HD 3850 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail

ENERMAX Liberty ELT500AWT ATX12V 500W Power Supply - Retail

Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound - OEM

Intel Pentium D 935 Presler 3.2GHz LGA 775 95W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80553935 - Retail

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler - Retail

Either way, this system still wont be able to run crysis at what you want. if you have the money to spend on it, and are willing to, let me know and ill put together a totally new build. Good for you, if you decide, because the new Intel Penryn is out, and you could the first person i recommend it too. lmao

LOL, I know, I know, it was a pipe dream thinking I could get my current PC up to speed to play Crysis! I appreciate all of the info you've given me in regards to upgrading as much as I can. The whole reason this came about was because I'm running the Crysis Demo now and it looks pretty solid, so based on that I was shooting for the stars!

Just out of curiosity, what are your suggestions for building a new machine?

If you were going to build crysis monster, and a high powered computer for a decent price, this would be a great build for you. without spending $$$ out the @$$ this is one of the best builds you would be able to do.

Thanks man, $1250 is pretty reasonable for a new Tower build. In your opinion how good would Crysis look on this build?

Also, what's the best type of video card, brand wise? Nvidia? ATI? Just out of curiosity..

Thanks again for the help
