I have an older version of fraps and whenever I run it the game skips and slows down badly (tf2 skip - Video - TinyPic - Share the Experience!™) anyone know why or what i can do to fix it?

Hi linkinmylog, it could be a couple of things causing the problem. One possibility is that you're using an outdated version of Fraps and need to download a newer version, one which might have fixed the particular issue you're experiencing. Fraps does tend to effect frame rates anyway, does your game run smoothly without Fraps running?

yeah it runs like butter, never had any problems until I run fraps.
