Default ipx error on theme hospital

come gather round while i tell you my problem!
right i am trying to play theme hospital on a wireless laptop running xp home and a desktop running xp pro on wireless pci card, im using a netgear router and have set up ipx on both laptop and desktop when i try to start dplayipx it shows my desktop comp name but wont let it join session on the laptop but if i try create session on laptop and try dplayipx on desktop it doesn't show the laptop there. ive turned off firewalls on both comps but still keep getting ipx join error. thanks in advance
