Angry [Fixed] Very odd problem with World of Warcraft.

I reactivated my World of Warcraft account last week and for several days it worked fine. Then 4 days ago I suddenly couldn't connect anymore. When I sign in with my username and password it just says "Cannot connect." after a few seconds of attempting to do just that. I ran a tracert to the IP address of Stonemaul (the "realm"-or part of Blizzard's servers-my character is in) and all I got back was this:

Tracing route to 206.16.147.65 over a maximum of 30 hops
1 Destination host unreachable.
Trace complete.
I tried doing a tracert to another realm I randomly selected out of a list of all the realms, and I got identical results. People on the World of Warcraft forums say this indicates a problem with my router, but I don't see how that could be since I can play other online games, surf the Internet, get on Xbox Live, etc. just fine through that router. Many other people on the World of Warcraft forums seem to be having this problem, but millions are able to connect fine. This indicates the newest patch changed something that many peoples' hardware or software didn't like.

Every day I'm not able to play is $0.50 lost, and I'd like to be able to isolate the problem and fix it quickly. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok I think the first step you should take is open the ports which are needed on your router for WoW.
Please follow this link:
Port Forwarding for the Linksys BEFSR41
This will guide you through allowing the port that World of Warcraft needs. Once you have opened it, try and connect to the game.

I did that but it didn't seem to change anything. At least I learned about port forwarding, lol.

Are you running a firewall? If so, disable it and see if the game will connect.
It's nearly 2am and I have college in the morning so i'm off to bed, hopefully someone will take over and help you
