Ok.
Here is a video that shows some gameplay of crysis.
Watch for the physics.
Specificly how much better they are than the VERY HIGH physics in DX10 Crysis.
It starts off slow, bear with me.
YouTube - Take a good look at Crysis physics engine
watch specificly for when the wooden fence and trees break.
In my version of crysis, everything but the trees are pre-broken, and even the trees break un-realisticly.
In this video the guy states that objects in crysis are NOT pre-broken.
This leads me to believe that the level of physics this guy has in his game can be achieved by us.
Anyone know about this?
How to get these physics in our crysis games?
IS this supposedly the ULTRA HIGH settings?
I've heard of such a thing, but dont know how to get them.

Hi Cruentus
![]() Sorry for the delay. Are you running Crysis in DX9 or DX10? Have you gone into the games options, under video settings - advanced there should be a physics setting. Here you can pick from low - medium - high and to maximum (maximum requires DX10).

I am running Physics at the Very High settings in DX10.
IS it possible the the physics are being scaled down against my will due to my processor? Intel Pentium D 2.80 GHz

I'm running crysis all on low and dx9 and my trees breakes like on the film. if you are using a nvidia card try updating to the latest beta driver (include some crysis tweaks i think): NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Home maybe that can help |

If you havn't got a great PC, what you can do is put everything to low but turn up the physics to high.
I'm going to mark this as Answered
