Default Serious Problem Playing WOW

Hi to all the gamers out there,

I had a serious issue in playing WOW. This started probably a few months ago. I was playing WOW as usual at a regular basis. Everything was fine till I reached level 20 as a blood elve, my pc reboot itself ! I wasn't getting edgy or worried at the beginning but numbers of reboots gets higher and higher.

So I seek the WOWs technical support and did what they advise to. I unchecked the function to restart when there is an error in the System/Advance Option Settings to find out what is wrong with my pc.

I received a blue screen stated DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_NOT_EQUAL
STOP 0x00000000D1 (forgets how many zeros it has)

I tried reinstalling my OS and updated my drivers. I also found out that I can create a new character but whenever i start to load and travel to a different continent, it reboots. (for those who had experience in WOW) Another way of saying, my pc reboots during any in-game loading except for a fresh beginning. If that is the case, i will never hit Level 70.......

I turned back to the WOW support but they had not sent a single mail yet.... Currently, I'm lost and frustrated as a WOW Fan. I sincerely hope for anyone out there who can advice me in any possible way to rectify this issue.

Thanks to all who read this and help given.

Hello GorillaJinx Welcome to PCHF

Ok, if I understand correctly, you have done a complete full restore of Windows which wipes the entire drive and reinstalls Windows from scratch correct?

Now when WOW crashes, does it still give that exact same error code?

If it does, can you navigate to this folder for me c:\windows\minidump\ You may have to edit the folder view options to show hidden files and folders and also show hidden system folders. If you can't see the folder, click tools at the top of the window, then click folder options, then click the view tab, then change the settings.

When you get to the minidump folder, get the most recent .dmp file you can find and post it in here as an attachment so I can try to examine the error for you.

I would imagine your video card just doesn't support WOW or maybe you have a piece of hardware that has problems.

Let's go from there
